What is the BSM?
The East Texas Baptist Network (ETBN) is a network of local churches in East Texas that partner together in God’s work in East Texas.
Texas Baptists or the BGCT “encourages, facilitates, and connects churches in their work to fulfill God’s mission of reconciling the world to himself.”
Baptist Student Ministry at Kilgore College is a ministry of
the East Texas Baptist Network and Texas Baptists (Baptist General Convention of Texas).
Our desire is that each individual we encounter would know Jesus and have a relationship with him, become more like Him as we live out our faith, and share His Good News at Kilgore College and to all nations. We do this through regular outreach on campus, offering free lunch, studying the Bible in community, training students to share the Good News of Jesus, and going on mission together.
To sum it up: KNOW. GROW. SHOW.
We believe no matter what you decide to do with your life - firefighter, doctor, or plumber - you can have a vibrant life in Christ.
